Struttmann and Buie’s love story is a real-life Hallmark movie. Struttmann is a mid-Missouri native who grew up on the same land he built his farm on. Buie grew up in Connecticut before she left to study art history and fashion at Indiana University in Bloomington. After graduating, she lived in New York City, San Francisco and San Antonio. After a few years working in fashion, she moved to Missouri where her family resides and the couple met online.
